Update (08/07/13): This article was updated to make clear that NORA, not Project Home Again, had declined to make the property address available to the public.
In November 2012, the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA) put out a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Gentilly Redevelopment Initiative. This RFP made over 120 NORA owned lots in Gentilly/Lake Area neighborhoods available to developers. The RFP application period ended on December 31, 2012, and about a week later Project Home Again was selected to develop 74 properties (see January 7, 2013 Award Letter).
Despite the fact that Project Home Again was selected over 6 months ago, NORA had not made the exact property addresses available to the public. I submitted a public records request and was able to identify the locations of the 74 properties. The properties can be viewed in this table or seen on this map. The properties are concentrated with 7 to 15 properties in the following neighborhoods: Oak Park, Vista Park, Burbank Gardens, Filmore Gardens, Gentilly Terrace and Gardens, Milneburg, and Seabrook.
Here are some additional documents from the Public Records Request:
